I met Mark through local friends who knew we were both NET patients. It turned out we had lots in common, and we shared some great times together. As well as for his wonderful friendship, I dedicate a star to him for supporting me so fantastically duiring times when I was ill due to NET cancer’s effects, and sharing up about his own very personal experiences as a patient.
We all owe Mark a great deal for the fundraising he did for this charity, be even moreso for the incredible work he did to help persuade NICE about reinstating funding for PRRT.
Mark lost his 13-year battle with NET cancer exactly a year ago today, so it’s particularly apt to remember him today.
