Walk, cycle, run, or simply donate to the Virtual Pathway Challenge and support neuroendocrine cancer research.

  • WHEN: Whenever you like between 11th June and 10th November 2023. 
  • WHO: The challenge is open to everyone of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities.

Our target is to collectively walk, run or cycle 21,000 miles, stopping off at all of the Neuroendocrine Cancer centres along the way.

The Neuroendocrine Cancer UK Virtual Pathway Fundraising Challenge is a virtual journey where participants can walk, run, or cycle the length of the nation, starting from Scotland and passing through Northern Ireland, Wales, and England, ‘stopping off’ at all of the neuroendocrine cancer centres and clinics along the way.

The goal is to raise funds for Neuroendocrine Cancer research.

The challenge started on June 11th, which is also our 21st birthday, and will end on World Neuroendocrine Cancer Day, November 10th.
The fundraising target for this challenge is £50,000.

You can participate by purchasing one of the ticket options available on our Enthuse platform. Choose the ticket that best suits you, whether as an individual, family, team, couple, school or as a corporate group.

Absolutely! You can mix and match different activities to achieve your personal goal and contribute to the overall progress of the challenge.
Absolutely! This is a virtual challenge, and anyone from any location can participate.
Each ticket option grants you access to participate in the virtual journey and contribute to the cause. Additionally, participants can choose to be a fundraiser and seek sponsorships.

Once you’ve purchased your ticket, you will be prompted to create a profile page. On this page you can edit your targets, upload a personal story and photo, post updates and manually upload or link your progress using Strava.

No, the challenge is open to individuals of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Everyone can take part!

Yes, there is a Support/Donor Ticket option for those who wish to contribute to the cause without actively participating in the challenge.

Can I make a donation without purchasing a ticket?

Yes, you can make additional donations to support the cause.

All funds raised will go towards supporting Neuroendocrine Cancer research.

While there is no minimum fundraising requirement, we encourage all participants to set their fundraising goals and seek support from friends, family, and colleagues.

Companies and organisations can purchase the Corporate Ticket option, enabling their members to participate in the challenge as a group.

Yes, you can create or join a team even if you’ve purchased an individual ticket. Simply reach out to our support team to assist you with the process: hello@nc-uk.org

Yes, team members can fundraise individually within their group. This way, you can collectively work towards the team goal while supporting individual fundraising efforts.

Schools can participate by purchasing a School Ticket, allowing the children to join in the virtual journey with a small entry fee donation of £1 per child.

Absolutely! Even if you can’t walk, run, or cycle, you can still fundraise and support the cause by sharing the challenge with your network and encouraging others to participate or donate. Please purchase the ‘participant’ ticket option.
