Wellbeing Day Retreat
At the NCUK Wellbeing Day Retreat, we will discuss some of the issues that might be important to anybody who has experienced a cancer diagnosis in a friendly, safe and confidential atmosphere. This includes anyone currently receiving or completing treatment, supporters or family members.
This event is planned to take place in 2022.
The Wellbeing Day Retreat is a part of our MIND the Gap campaign. These events are full-day events where we will work with patients, family members and healthcare professionals. The events will include five breakout sessions to discuss various topics, work through coping strategies, network with others in a similar situation, provide some time for you and involve some fun stuff too!
- Working to wellbeing
- Newly diagnosed (within the last 18 months – 2 years)
- Long standing / stable
- Long stable but “re-diagnosed”
- Supporters / carers
Some of the subjects we will cover include where to find reliable information, becoming more active, looking after your mind as well as your body and the emotional impact of diagnosis and treatment.
We’d love to hear your feedback.
** YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SUBMIT YOUR FEEDBACK AFTER THE EVENT, THANK YOU**
