Advances in Science : EURINE-ACT

A study, involving 14 international Centres, and enrolling more than 2000 patients, newly diagnosed with adrenal masses, over 6 years, has allowed researchers led by Professor Wiebke Arlt (Birmingham) to develop and assess the accuracy of a simple urine test which, with MRI/CT scans, may speed up diagnosis of adrenal cancer.

This can improve patients’ prognosis and reduces the need for more invasive diagnostics.
