Health and Care Research Wales

Mar 25, 2021

Hundreds of people across Wales help make health and social care research happen every week. The support of members of the public is essential in making sure research is well run and ultimately has a positive impact on people’s lives.

Health and Care Research Wales (HCRW) held the first public engagement and involvement workshop on 26 January 2021. The workshop provided an opportunity for attendees to hear about the ‘Discover Your Role in Health and Care Research’ action plan which can be found on the Health and Care Research Wales website.

The workshop also covered discussions on the proposed establishment of a Public Engagement and Involvement Forum for health and social care research, addressing focus area 1 of the action plan. A briefing pack which provides an outline of the Forum proposal was shared with all attendees, and is available to view on the website.

HCRW have announced that they will be holding their next Engagement and Involvement Forum on 11 and 13 May 2021, and would like to invite you to join them for one or both dates.

The deadline for registration is 17:00 on 4 May 2021.

  • 13 May 2021, 16:30 – 18:30 Inclusion & diversity
