On the 8th August the NPF team visited The Christie in Manchester to find out more about the work they are doing for Neuroendocrine Cancer patients.
We spent time touring their facilities including their imaging and PRRT facilities. We also had the opportunity to meet their Clinical Nurse Specialists and their oncology team.
The team updated us on their work and provided us with an insight into the research they are doing, including a high grade NET study and a dietetic study part funded by an NPF research grant.
