Opportunity for a patient/career representative to work with Thames Valley Cancer Alliance.
Thames Valley Cancer Alliance (TVCA) are looking for a Patient/Carer Representative, to join their Thames Valley Cancer Alliance Executive Board (TVCA EB). Thames Valley Cancer Alliance’s Executive Board brings leaders together from different hospital trusts, primary care and other health and social care organisations to co-design and improve cancer services within our Alliance geography.
The Board is responsible for ensuring that the patient voice is represented as an equal partner within its membership and has the same oversight of the strategy development and implementation phases, as other organisations on the Board. The patient/carer representative will also be the Chair on the Thames Valley Cancer Alliance Patient Partnership Group (TVCA PPG). Working in partnership with a variety of community partners and organisations, the purpose of the TVCA PPG is to ensure that the voice of those affected by cancer is listened to, helping to influence change and improve cancer services across Thames Valley.
