On Saturday 14th July, Sarah Wintle took part in the Race to the Stones 100k to help raise awareness and funds for NET Patient Foundation.
“Last year my dad was diagnosed with cancer. It turned our lives upside down, as anyone who has dealt with a Big C diagnosis knows.
The worst things for us was that they couldn’t work out exactly what sort of cancer it was, or how bad it was, or what the treatment/prognosis was. My dad was finally found to have Neuroendocrine Tumours in his lungs.
NPF have provided support and information for my dad and my family and I want to raise funds and awareness to help their cause.”
