Cancer52 is currently conducting a piece of work to help inform their contribution to any new Cancer Strategy that will follow the existing one, which runs until 2020/2021. To help inform their contribution they are looking at all the issues facing people with rare and less common cancers and consider what needs to improve.
They would like to hear from people who are living with or have had a rare or less common cancer, as well as carers, about their experiences and how they think the experiences of future patients could be improved.
It will help them to show the government and the people who run the NHS what people with a rare or less common cancer think needs to change.
They will publish their findings by the end of 2018. They will aim to ensure that those findings are included in any future Cancer Strategy or future plans for people with a rare or less common cancer.
The closing date for responding to the survey is 22 August.
