The Welsh Government is developing a National Cancer Strategy for Wales and is inviting people and organisations across Wales to contribute their views through an open call for evidence.
The strategy aims to improve cancer outcomes in Wales, including increasing survival rates following a cancer diagnosis and reducing the number of deaths from cancer each year. To help shape the strategy, the Welsh Government wants to hear from individuals, professionals, researchers, service providers, charities, and other organisations about what should be included in the final document.
Responses can draw on personal experience, professional expertise, research evidence, or organisational perspectives. Contributors are encouraged to provide evidence, examples, recommendations, and references or links to supporting information wherever possible. However, views will still be considered even where supporting evidence is not available.
The feedback received will help inform the content of the National Cancer Strategy, and a summary of responses will be published alongside the final strategy.
