Mar 24, 2021

NCUK is excited to announce that its review article “The Role of Patient Support Groups in Neuroendocrine Neoplasms”, co-authored by Catherine Bouvier and Teodora Kolarova (International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance), has been accepted for publication in Current Oncology Reports.

The purpose of the review is to establish the role patient support groups play in NENs, which has evolved significantly over the years. The article provides an overview of the current state of affairs of the global NEN advocacy movement and expands on it strategic priorities, i.e. improving awareness and education among all stakeholders, generating patient evidence to influence policies for access to optimal diagnostics, treatment and care, and setting the research agenda.
