On the 14th October, Ian took part in the Yorkshire Marathon to raise funds for NET Patient Foundation.
“I’d like to thank everyone who sent me a message of support and/or made a donation to the NET Patient Foundation. I completed the York Marathon last Sunday and despite the poor conditions I managed to knock a minute off my PB with a time of 3 hours & 34 mins. I have to be honest and say that the cause I was running for and the support received definitely pushed me along, particularly the last few miles. I can only hope that a little bit more awareness has been raised for this rare cancer.”
