Martyn Caplin is Professor of gastroenterology & GI neuroendocrinology at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London. He leads The Royal Free ENETS Centre of Excellence including research programmes into neuroendocrine tumours.

Radionuclide Radiologist

Amy is a Radionuclide Radiologist based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Amy is actively involved in the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, UKINETs, British Institute of Radiology and is the current Radionuclide Radiology advisor for the Royal College of Radiologists.

Mr Stephen Fenwick is a Consultant Hepatobiliary and General Surgeon based at the Sefton Suite Hospital and Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool.

Mr Samuel Ford is a full time Consultant surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham with a specialist interest in general, upper gastrointestinal and sarcoma surgery.

Andrea Frilling is a Professor of Surgery and Chair in Endocrine Surgery at Imperial College London. She is a practising consultant surgeon with an interest in the translation of basic medical research findings into the clinical setting.

Consultant Physician

Dr Graveling is a Consultant Endocrinologist in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He is the sub-speciality lead for neuroendocrine and coordinates the local multidisciplinary team meeting.

Wendy Martin

Lead Neuroendocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist

Wendy currently works as the Lead Neuroendocrine Clinical Nurse Specialist at Kings College Hospital NHS foundation Trust. She has worked in the Liver unit for over 20 years initially in the liver intensive care unit then as a practice development nurse before joining the clinical nurse specialist team.

Prof Newell-Price leads the Sheffield ENETS European Centre of Excellence for Neuroendocrine Tumours, and was the Chair of the UK and Ireland Neuroendocrine Tumour Society from 2018 – 2022.

Mark is a Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Liverpool and an honorary Consultant Gastroenterologist and clinical lead of the ENETS Centre of Excellence at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Debashis Sarker is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Guy’s St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals and Reader in Experimental Oncology in the School of Cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences at King’s College, London.

Rohini Sharma is a Reader in Clinical Pharmacology and Medical Oncology. She is also a Consultant Medical Oncologist based at the Hammersmith Hospital campus of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Consultant Gastroenterologist

Dr Raj Srirajaskanthan is the lead of the Kings Health Partners Neuroendocrine Tumour service and a consultant gastroenterologist and physician. His specialist interests include gastrointestinal cancers, irritable bowel syndrome, endoscopy and neuroendocrine tumours (NETS).

Dr Richard Steeds is an Honorary Reader at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Birmingham, and a Consultant Cardiologist at University Hospitals Birmingham.

Mike has 30 years’ experience in cancer practice and education, mainly within Oxford. He set up the Neuroendocrine Tumours specialist nursing service at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation trust in 2013.

Mireille Gillings Professor of Cancer Genomics

Chrissie was recently appointed as the Mireille Gillings Professor of Cancer Genomics, joining the College of Medicine and Health and Institute of Biomedical and Clinical Science in August 2019.

Neuroendocrine Tumours (Research & Development Dietitian). Tara has specialised in diet for neuroendocrine tumour patients since 2012.

Psychotherapist and Counsellor

Kym is the Clinical Lead for NCUK’s Online Counselling and Psychotherapy Service. She specialises in psychotherapy and counselling for those impacted by the psychological impact of rare or uncommon diseases.

Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist

Irene is the Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist for Neuro-endocrine Tumours and Thyroid Cancer at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
