Supporting the

Neuroendocrine Cancer Community

A SPLASHING thank you to Olivia who has raised over £1,900.00 for NCUK by swimming 30 lengths for 30 days.

Here’s Olivia’s story:

As a 30th birthday challenge to myself I’m going to swim 30 lengths for 30 days to raise money for Neuroendocrine Cancer UK. Four years ago my dad was diagnosed with a rare cancer, a neuroendocrine tumour. These tumours affect a small but significant number of people with around 4,800 people being diagnosed each year with a NET tumour in the UK. This type of cancer affects the person as a chronic disease, impacting their every day life. Neuroendocrine Cancer UK are an amazing charity who provide support, not just for the patient but also their family. The nurses provide regular medical advice, there are support groups where you can meet and talk to other people going through it and they host conferences which give access to a range of health care professionals. This is a personally meaningful cause and I really appreciate all of your donations. All of the money donated will go to the Neuroendocrine Cancer UK!

You can still donate to Olivia’s challenge here.
