Neuroendocrine Cancer UK is proud to announce the return of the Hero Awards for a second year.
These awards shine a spotlight on the incredible courage of patients, the tireless dedication of healthcare professionals, the unwavering love of family and friends, and the remarkable fundraising efforts that make our work possible.
Together, we celebrate the heroes who inspire hope, strength, and change in the neuroendocrine cancer community.

Our Neuroendocrine Cancer UK Hero Awards feature six inspiring categories. Last year, we were honoured to receive over 120 nominations – and this year, we’re aiming even higher!

Anyone can nominate someone for an award.
Please note that you cannot nominate a Neuroendocrine Cancer UK staff member.
HERE are some handy tips on what to write for your nomination.
We can do that for you. The nomination form you complete includes a field for a telephone number. If you add this number we can contact the nominee to inform them.
Sunday 5th October.
A nomination may require a detailed description, including the nominee’s contact information and relevant work or supporting information. It really helps if you can include examples of stories to back up your nomination. Find some handy tips HERE
Yes, you may nominate as many people as you like! (Excluding Neuroendocrine Cancer UK staff members and Ambassadors).
The winners will be announced on Monday 1st December.
We have a judging panel consisting of patients and healthcare professionals who will vote and select the winners.

Although neuroendocrine cancer is the 10th most prevalent cancer in England, awareness remains low.
Through these awards, we aim to raise the profile of neuroendocrine cancer and increase public awareness.
