This is an online REGIONAL Natter group and will remain an online resource as LOCAL face to face Natters restart.

All meetings are held quarterly, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, between 6 and 7:30pm

We are delighted to welcome Mr Soonawalla (Consultant Surgeon: Oxford Centre of Excellence) to this meeting 21st February

Zahir Soonawalla was appointed as Consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon at Oxford University Hospital in 2005. Zahir is the Clinical Director for General Surgery, having previously been the Deputy Divisional Medical Director. The unit was at the forefront of minimally-invasive HPB surgical practice, and has recently developed as a centre for robotic HPB surgery. Zahir has been involved with the Neuroendocrine MDT at Oxford since its inception and manages the provision of surgical care to patients with neuroendocrine tumours who need operations on the pancreas, small intestine or liver.

If you have any questions about surgery you can pre-submit them to Kate: there will be a Question and Answer session following Mr Soonawalla’s talk. Please note, however, that he will not be able to discuss individual cases.
