National “Whippersnappers” (under 50’s) Natter ONLINE

We are delighted to continue our National “whippersnappers” (under 50s) Natter Group Meetings: they for anyone and everyone, under the age of 50, who is affected by Neuroendocrine Cancer

The National ‘whippersnappers’ Natters will be held quarterly and 2024 dates are as follows: 1st May / 7th August / 13th November: 6pm-8pm

“NET Whippersnappers” started in 2016 as a Facebook group for those – under the age of 50 (late teens to late 40’s) – diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer (Neuroendocrine Tumour – NET or Neuroendocrine Carcinoma – NEC).

As founder member Alex says “This group gives us a chance to meet people in the same position, AND AGE GROUP, to discuss anything, but also to find positives and have a laugh. It allows us to discuss some of those thoughts that it might be uncomfortable to share with others, including family and friends . . . I know from experience that this can feel very isolating. . . We may be at a very different life stage to others with Neuroendocrine Cancer and may often have different concerns, thoughts, approaches.. . this group provides a chance to share thoughts, research, get support, or just to chat with other ‘young’ (neuroendocrine cancer) patients”
