On Friday 29th June 2018, 8 members of the FI Real Estate Management laced up their hiking boots and set their sights on climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon, in the National 3 Peaks Challenge.
Through the heat, the team stuck together and successfully completed their final mountain descent on Saturday 30th June. The total walking distance for the challenge was 23 miles and an ascent of 3,064 metres.
The team were raising money for NET Patient Foundation in memory of their colleague Alison Austin who was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer last year and sadly passed away in December 2017.
“We still miss her dearly. She was a much loved and valued person who always made time and effort for other people so we thought it fitting to remember her memory this year and support her husband, John’s, chosen charity NET Patient Foundation”
