INCA launches new website Research page

Apr 4, 2023

INCA has launched the new Research Section on www.incalliance.org

INCA is committed to empower NET patients to bring robust participation in clinical trials and to play an active role in shaping patient-centered research. INCA seeks to advocate for patient involvement that brings greater attention to patient reported outcomes and improved quality of life.

The Research section includes:

  • Information about INCA Research Pillar activities
  • Insights from NET research leaders – video presentations by prominent NET investigators on NET clinical trials that matter and the instrumental role of meaningful patient input in trial design; the presentations are designed especially for INCA and the first three contributions come from Dr. Enrique Grande, Prof. Jonathan Strosberg and Prof. Michael Michael
  • NET clinical trial search tool – an AI search tool focused on NET clinical trials worldwide, developed and provided by Ancora.ai with support by NorCal CarciNET; it offers a user-friendly snapshot of trials that fit the particular patient condition based on their location and does not require patients to register or share personal details.

Kate Quirk, Neuroendocrine Cancer UK Patient Support Coordinator, has just been appointed to the INCA Research Committee, after contributing to the completion of a project to bring wider access to Clinical Trials for Neuroendocrine Cancer patients globally. Read more here
