Lets Talk About Lung NETs Live Facebook Q&A

Nov 29, 2018

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Lung cancer is globally the biggest cause of cancer related death, resulting in almost 1.6million deaths per year and is often diagnosed at an advanced stage.

Neuroendocrine tumours of the lung account for up to 25% of all primary lung tumours and are the second most common primary site for neuroendocrine tumour development. Lung NETs are also known as pulmonary NET, bronchial NET, carcinoid tumour of the lung or lung carcinoid.

NPF Nurses, Nikie and Lindsey, held a live Facebook Q&A session all about Lung NETs on Wednesday 28th November.
