Our guest speaker will be:
Consultant Histopathologist Oliveira Pedro, MD, ARC Path from The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester.
Amongst Dr Oliveira’s specialist experience is his expertise in in LUNG pathology. His presentation will discuss how to diagnose LUNG Neuroendocrine Cancer, specialist staining of biopsies, and the importance of grading and staging in the correct treatment pathway.
Dr Oliveira graduated from the University of Lisbon Medical School in 1986 and trained in anatomic pathology at the Lisbon Cancer Institute. During his residency, he spent time at MD Anderson Cancer Centre and Mayo Clinic in USA.
