NET CONNECT is a group of both established and next-generation international experts in the field of neuroendocrine tumours (NET).
The Steering Committee and Members aim to collaborate in scientific activities, share best practices and discuss the latest scientific and clinical insights to develop educational programs, supporting medical oncologists, endocrinologists and gastroenterologists around the world to provide the best possible care to their patients. INCA is partnering with NET Connect to ensure that the patient survey reaches as many of our community as possible.
NET Connect are conducting two global surveys to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on neuroendocrine tumour practices and treatment decisions.
Two surveys will be conducted, one aimed at health care professionals (HCP’s) and one for patients. The surveys will assess how interaction with patients and treatment decisions have been modified during the pandemic as well as ascertain whether HCP’s and patients would like to continue with some elements of this in their ongoing care and management post-pandemic. The survey will also assess whether the COVID-19 vaccination influences treatment decisions for NET patients.
Analysis of the two surveys will compare HCP and patient perceptions of NET management during the pandemic.
Please note that the survey closes on the 25th of June.
