πŸ’¬ “For those who don’t know much about us… we’ve been friends for over 13 years and met through our local swimming club. We hung up our goggles many a year ago now and decided to take up running. The furthest we’ve ever run together is 10km, but we want to tick off a half marathon (21km) in 2023. We have a family member that has been affected. Therefore we have chosen this charity.
We’re pleased to report that Rhi & Kel completed the marathon hand-in-hand ❀️
πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ TEAM: Neil, Richard and Charlotte, a.k.a, The N.E.T. Nerds are a Father, daughter and son trio. πŸ’ƒ Molly & friends at York St John University Cabaret evening. A total of Β£538.40 was raised on the evening. Here’s why Molly chose to fundraise for us:
πŸ’¬ “My mum was diagnosed in 2021, so I decided to fundraise for the charity close to our hearts and to give back to her. It’s a time for all family and friends to get together to celebrate what a wonderfully strong woman she is”.

πŸ“– 10-year-old Ava hand-sewed bookmarks for Molly’s cabaret fundraiser and raised Β£10 for Neuroendocrine Cancer UK! “Ava was thrilled to sell out her creations and raise money for such an important cause”. Superstar!! 🌟
πŸ… Eve ran in the Brighton Half Marathon 2023 2023 and raised Β£880.00!
πŸ’¬ I decided to run a half marathon in February in honour of my beautiful friend Darrel, who made his mark in heaven on 8th April 2021.
πŸ’¬ Darrel lost his battle with Neuroendocrine cancer, even though he put up one hell of a fight. I will forever admire Darrel’s positive attitude and determination, despite what he and his family were going through. He made friends along the way and turned his illness into awareness.
