Jan 13, 2022

NOT JUST NE CANCER SERIES: UPPER GI ~ Stomach Neuroendocrine Cancer Symptoms.
Stomach Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs) are rare and account for less than 2% of all stomach cancers. Of those that occur, there are three key types: Types I, II & III. Types I and II may be associated with a history of atrophic or auto-immune gastritis (Type I) OR Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome (Type II). Type III is not usually associated with other conditions but is more likely to present in the same way as stomach cancer.
Symptoms MAY mimic Indigestion/Heartburn, Ulcer and / or Stomach Cancer and include those listed on the image below.
